Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated... This past year has been a little traumatic. Really big money problems and crappy personal issues do not make a good combination, not to mention the dryest period of creativity I've had since starting to make jewellery.
Well, I'm back... sort of anyway. Since last year I've only really completed 2 pieces, a bracelet and a necklace. If I manage to get hold of a camera, I'll add them to my gallery.

I can only apologise for not being around to comment on the quite staggering amount of work that's been produced by the lovely people on my watchlist. I will have to go on a gallery tour to catch up with everyone.

Thank you so much to all the people who've either faved or watched me in the past year, I will have to come and thank each of you individually!

The person that I really have to apologise to most is ~sapphyrewind... Sorry Cilka! In fact I'm going to write you a nice grovelly email right now.

For now though I'll be trying to help ~sapphyrewind (if she'll have me back) get the HelixClub back on it's twisty little feet, as it never really took off as well as expected in the first place. On that note, if you produce anything with spirals please join us... the comp with a cool prize still stands if you want to make us a lovely icon or stamp.

Membership

To join add HC to your watchlist and send a note to ~sapphyrewind or ~Sekino with a link to an image you’d like us to include in the gallery. Also don’t forget to add permission with the link saying something like “I give HelixClub permission to use my images in its gallery yada, yada, yada…. ”. You can change the image as many times as you want just send us a note with a link to the new image.

Faving

Please make sure that you do not +fav anyone in the HC gallery, it is against DA policy and anyone who does so will be removed from the membership list. Follow the link to the original artist and show your appreciation on their page.

Competition

Our first contest is to produce a spiral themed avatar and stamp for the club. We will also be running a "Spiral of the month" comp where the winner will be featured in the journal and heaped with praise.
